Oboe Reed #11

Oboe Reed #11: 65% resistance/35% freedom. Warm, clear tone. String color is apricot. Tip opening: medium. This reed speaks easily, but requires slightly more from the player's embouchure. If out of stock, try #10 or #12.

Oboe Reed #11 is a unique reed amongst the higher numbered reeds, as the resistance is less in the amount of air pressure that's required and is instead in the amount of embouchure pressure required. Players who like this reed really like this reed!
