Handmade Bassoon Reed #10 (80% resistance/20% freedom). Dark, focused, great depth tone. Heat shrink tubing coating in various colors. This is the most resistant bassoon reed we have. Shape: Fox 3. Not the same length as other reeds.

We have a unique system for naming our reeds. We assign them a number based on criteria about their levels of resistance. The numbers on this chart show the percentage of resistance in the reed on the left, and the percentage of flexibility in the reed on the right.
