Oboe Reed Blank

This is an oboe reed BLANK. It is not a functional oboe reed. You will have to scrape this item in order to make it work. It is not a reed yet. If what you want is an already functional reed, please purchase one of our other items (Oboe Reeds #1-15).

The Profiled blank has been profiled to rough-in the scraped areas. Clip the tip and finish the scraping to your desired thicknesses. This is also not yet a fully functional oboe reed. Scraping and knowledge is also needed in order for this to become something usable.

The fully bark blank has not been scraped or profiled at all. This is the closest experience to making a full oboe reed by yourself since you'll have to do all the scraping, including scraping the bark off.
