This is an absolutely gorgeous playing used Fox Model 101 Professional Bassoon.  Made in 1990 and not made anymore these days, this bassoon plays very similarly to a 601 in my opinion. This short-bore instrument was initially introduced by Fox in 1968. Much like the 601, it has a great soloistic voice with flexibility of tone, intonation and projection. This bassoon has just received a complete cleaning, oiling and adjusting by our highly qualified repair technician. It has rollers on all of the right hand thumb keys, and a right hand push whisper key lock. It will come in a Marcus Bonna MB-2 black bassoon case in good condition, with a Heckel bocal, a swab, crutch, and seat strap.
